"Reindeer Kringle" ("Kringle Bells" in the Happy Tree Friends: Second Serving DVD and Happy Tree Friends - Winter Break) is a Kringle featuring Petunia. The short is set to "Joy to the World".

Plot

Petunia is walking in the snow when she comes across a scrawny shivering reindeer. She looks closer at it in awe, only to be kicked in the face by its hind legs five times, giving her a blackeye, knocking some teeth out of her, and causing her mouth to bleed. The skunk ends up falling forwards from the brutal injury. The reindeer then lightly kicks her head one more time with one hind leg. It stops shivering entirely.

Fates

Animation errors

  • During one brief moment when Petunia says, "Oh, wow!" her mouth graphic is placed way too high on her face, resulting in her philtrum going past her nose and reaching her head marking, and her mouth being partially overlapped by her nose.

Trivia

  • The original title, "Kringle Bells", is a pun on "jingle bells" and refers to the ringing bells made by the reindeer's collar when it was kicking Petunia's face. Not to mention, the sounds Petunia's teeth make when they hit the ground are the four notes from the Christmas song "Silver Bells", which also fit the "bells" motif.
  • The reindeer is the same one from "Milkin' It" where it was seen in the background during Lifty's death and "Class Act" where it was seen outside the school theater when Cuddles got stuck in the doorway because of his costume.
  • This is one of the three Kringles that feature only one main character, the others are "Train Kringle" (featuring Cub) and "Sight Kringle" (featuring Giggles).
