Synopsis

Happy Tree Friends website: The very first of the anti-valentine greetings.

Plot

Giggles is sitting on a bench next to Cro-Marmot, her date. As she looks up at him, a drop of water drips from his ice block, as if he was sweating from nervousness. Giggles prepares to kiss him when she is hit on the back of her head by a snowball thrown by Toothy, who laughs. Her face is stuck on Cro-Marmot's ice block, so she tries to pull away, only to tear off her optic nerves as her eye balls remain stuck. After this horrific event, she runs away screaming. Her eyes on Cro-Marmot's ice block look as if staring at him, causing him to "sweat" again.

Giggles, now blind and bandaged around her head, is now sitting next to Mole on the bench instead. Another snowball is then thrown at her head again, disrupting the moment.

Animation errors

  • Cro-Marmot is first shown holding his club in his right hand during the first shot only to hold it in his left the next.
  • A layering error occurs during Giggles' struggle to pull her face away from Cro-Marmot's ice block. When her ears flap backwards briefly, her right ear ends up layered under the snowball on her head, causing clipping.
