"My Better Half" is a Love Bite focusing on Handy and Petunia. This is one of the two Love Bites to be released after the 3-year gap since "I Heart U" was released, the other being "On My Mind". To date, this is the last Love Bite published.

Plot

Handy and Petunia are on a swan boat that has just exited out the Tunnel of Love. They enjoy their time together until Petunia opens her eye and sees a log floating along the ride, another joining shortly after. Handy also notices and turns the other way to see another swan boat off the river, this one already cut into halves. They are confused for a moment until Handy begins to be sliced through a sawblade. To Petunia's horror, the ride they are on turns out to lead to a sawmill. She can only scream helplessly.

Later, Petunia has been sliced and her two halves are thrown onto a pile of already-sliced logs.

Trivia

• "My Better Half" is the second Love Bites short starring Petunia. She previously also starred in "I Heart U".
• Not counting "On My Mind"'s re-release on the official Mondo website, "My Better Half" is the only Love Bites short to be released on exactly February 14.
• "My Better Half" has the break-up message written with a proper punctuation unlike the previous Love Bites. "On My Mind", also released in 2012, is the only other one with this distinction.
