Plot[edit]

Petunia is picking off petals from a flower (as in a game of "loves-me-loves-me-not"). She stops when she sees Mime walking by. Mime stops as well and the two become smitten for each other. Mime draws an imaginary heart with his fingers and blows it. But when Petunia readies herself for the kiss, the "heart" shatters on her face and she ends up screaming in pain before an imaginary arrow is shot to her eye, knocking her backwards. Mime opens his eyes after his cupid gesture and ends up shocked.

In the end, Mime decides to escape the scene by going through an imaginary door.

Trivia[edit]

  • "I Heart U" is the first Love Bites short to not have a character screaming in pain as the closing iris is shown.
  • Petunia's game at the beginning of the short would have ended with "he loves me not," befitting the Love Bites' anti-Valentine's Day theme.
  • "I Heart U" is one of the two Love Bites that do not star Giggles as the female character in the focused couple, the other being "My Better Half", which also stars Petunia.
