Hate Mail is a bonus feature from the Happy Tree Friends Season One TV Volume Four DVD. It is a montage of Happy Tree Friends staff and random people reading out Happy Tree Friends hate mail sent to MondoMedia. On the official Mondo website, this video used to be listed under the Happy Tree Friends Break playlist during the Atom iteration, even though it does not have the Break intro. On the 2012-2014 iteration of the website, it was moved to the "Behind The Scenes" category. It was then delisted from the official website entirely when the website was revamped once again in late 2014.

Happy Tree Friends website and YouTube: Find out why Happy Tree Friends are everything thats [sic] wrong with the world. Why just read the nasty comments when you can see real live people trying to pronounce clever misspelled criticism.[1][2]

Woman: Is this really from people?
Cameraman: Yeah, sure, sure. (unintelligible)

Woman: Just dropping you a line saying that you made a 12-year old have trouble sleeping. You horrible, horrible people. Go to hell, please, and cancel the show while you're at it. I hope you're happy, but honestly I don't. By the way, that same 12-year old puked. I know it sounds crazy to puke while crying. How do you sleep at night?
Man: "it is fun why are the show disgusting like having kind of blood??? why must the show have the blood???"
Connell: I think this show is ridiculous! Firstly, it's violent. Secondly, it teaches children things that they don't need to know like violence.
Woman: I hate the show. It's stupid. I hope you know you're just wasting your time making it.
Winn: Oh my God. "I think these shows are disgusting and who ever likes it has sierius mantal problems!!!"
Woman: Can you try to make Happy Tree Friends happy? Instead of sick? Sorry, I hate those things.
Lippy: "Dear Happy Tree Friends, THE SHOW IS CRAP!!!! HOW COULD U MAKE SUCH A SHOW U PUT VIOLENCE INTO CHILDRENS MIND (I AM A CHILD) IT IS (struggles with the typo) Horrible..." No, it is "HORRILBE". It's horrilbe! It's horrilb!
Woman: Just wanted to tell whoever reads this that the creators of the show should be ashamed of themselves and I hope they feel guilty and ashamed for the rest of their lives because they most certainly should. Also, I hate to say it, but they must have exceedingly sick minds. Thank you.
Man: As an animal lover and tree hugger, this show disgusts me. It also pisses me off that some bastards out there decided to make a show about dismembering animals. Blood, I'm okay with. Violence, I'm not bothered by. But when it's against animals, it's just wrong. Get a friggin' life, HTF.
Girl: I hate your shows, and I think it goes against my morals.
Winn: Are they all negative?
Others in the room: Yeah, it's negative.
Woman: Sick, sick, sick. I would like to know how many people actually watch this.
Winn: You people are responsible for everything wrong in the world.
Man: "sometime i hate 2 see this show... i hope u understand..."
Connell: (chuckles) This show is way too violent. After watching it, my son nearly took a knife and stabbed my daughter to death! Please cut down on the gory scenes. (holding back a laugh) Your cooperation is pretty much appreciated.
Lippy: My friends got me to watch it and I will hate them for that FOREVAH... with an "A". You suck! Prepare to be banned! How did you get a TV license? ...I know I have a TV license.
Winn: Go to hell.
