Character(s) | Lifty and Shifty |
Origin | Happy Tree Friends & Friends |
"Cheesy Does It" is one of the Happy Tree Friends Break shorts. This is one of the shorts that recycle animation from Happy Tree Friends & Friends, specifically from the "we're back" bumpers. Like in "Take Your Seat", "Moppin Up", "Bite Sized", "Pop & Corn", "Butter Me Up", and "Tunnel Vision", the Happy Tree Friends & Friends logo is replaced with the Break logo, but there is no "is dead!" scribble since its erasure in "Butter Me Up", the Break short preceding this one. There is also an additional animation exclusive to this Break announcing the return of the regular Happy Tree Friends shorts, as the show was in hiatus at the time.
Plot[edit]
Lifty and Shifty pop out at the counter which has an open pizza box. Shifty takes a slice and bites into it. The hot cheese melts his jaws and swells his eyes (one of them ends up bursting) as he screams and flails his arms in agony. The pizza box, displaying the Happy Tree Friends Break logo, falls to the floor. A green wrapping paper covers the entire screen followed by a red ribbon tied over it with a tag:
to: The Fans
from: Mondo
note: HTF is back, Baby!

Trivia[edit]
- "Cheesy Does It" marks the end of the 2010-2011 hiatus for Happy Tree Friends since the release of "See You Later, Elevator" back in September 20, 2010. The next Break short, "Tunnel Vision", in fact doubles as a teaser to the regular short "Clause For Concern".
