Re:Under the Skin
I see you erased your complaint, so let me get this straight. Under the Skin is a mockumentary, a parody, a joke. The info is intentionally falsified or exagerrated for the laughs. You missed the entire point, and thought a joke is a fact. --Lumpy1234 (talk) 12:15, 24 December 2023 (UTC)
It's intentionally written to parody the documentary of the rise and fall of celebs. Please read its article to see the full script (Under The Skin), and you'll see how tongue in cheek it is. --Lumpy1234 (talk) 12:23, 24 December 2023 (UTC)
If you watch the entire thing, you should've realized how clearly a joke it is. You seriously think that a big complex machine was used to create the show. There is no mention of Resistance Is Futile, which is the official explanation from the crew. Also all release dates are based on what the official website had put if available (otherwise "citation needed", the more uncertain dates with this label were brought over from the Fandom wiki but we'll try our best to find a more accurate date). If you claimed the random 1998 dates are true, you could've provided official source for that. --Lumpy1234 (talk) 12:33, 24 December 2023 (UTC)
Then the joke flew over your head. Now, to be fair, the crew (or Mondo) tends to be very tongue in cheek with their explanations that it might be hard to tell if they're telling the truth or not. You need to understand their style of comedy to at least get the idea and distinguish their words. However, the Mondo website, outside of the rare mistakes, has more certain release date metadata since they're clearly displayed, and if you try to trace them through web.archive.org, you'll more likely to see that it matched, with the only difficult ones being the pre-Season 3 ones as back then the episodes were offered in rotation (and the TV series requires that you happened to be there during the original airing). So when it comes to citing release dates, official sources like the official Mondo website and the MondoMedia YouTube channel are the most certain in veracity. --Lumpy1234 (talk) 12:50, 24 December 2023 (UTC)
If you insist, then be my guest. But until you find actual, verifiable, official sources stating the release dates as you perceived, please do not alter what is already put on the articles. --Lumpy1234 (talk) 13:01, 24 December 2023 (UTC)
Warning: Edit warring
This is a warning to stop your inappropriate behavior (edit warring on incorrect information regarding a parody documentary) on Lumpypedia. Please adhere to the rules or you will be blocked from editing this site. If this warning was not issued by an administrator or patroller and you feel it was undeserved, you may appeal it. |
Hello MickyGirl1234. I am the creator and admin of Lumpypedia. I see that you are trying to edit the provably incorrect information. At the same time, the above user has correctly fixed the issues, only for you to reverse them. Concerning "Under the Skin", it cannot be used as a proper source as it is a mockumentary. I don't need to explain that, but 90% of the information is false for parody purposes. You cannont appeal your warning as it was given out by an official admin. Legorunnerkid (talk) 16:45, 24 December 2023 (UTC)
- Do I have to explain what is wrong with your edits? You're using a parody documentary as a source. I issued the warning because Lumpy1234 was trying to change them, and you reversed her edits. She told you that the information is false. Do research on what a mockumentary is before you decide to question us further. I hate being this blunt, but I must ensure you understand me.TheUnGhost (talk) 17:58, 24 December 2023 (UTC)

Warning:False information
This is a warning to stop your inappropriate behavior (falsely claiming dates for Happy Tree Friends episodes, using a mockumentary as a source) on Lumpypedia. Please adhere to the rules or you will be blocked from editing this site. If this warning was not issued by an administrator or patroller and you feel it was undeserved, you may appeal it. |
I just warned you about using the mockumentary as a source. The recent article you just made claims this episode came out in the late 1990s. The episode's release date is 2000. You can even find this information on the official website. I have no idea why you are continuing to do this, but I need to give you a second warning. TheUnGhost (talk) 18:18, 24 December 2023 (UTC)

If it is true that these episodes were released that early, please use a source that isn't the mockumentary. I have tried to describe what a mockumentary is, but you refuse to listen. A mockumentary is a parody documentary. In other words, it's a fake documentary. The information in it is mostly false. And while websites can be wrong, these are the closest source for episode release dates. You were putting false information because all official sources point out that the first episode's release was in 1999 and the source you are using is satire. Also, please sign your comments correctly. As I said last time, you can add ~~~~ at the end of your comments to properly sign your name. Also, everyone is allowed to edit pages. Last Warning
This is your last warning. The next time you break the rules in any way, you will be blocked from editing Lumpypedia. If this last warning was not issued by an administrator or patroller and you feel it was undeserved, you may appeal it. |
Okay, I'm going to be very serious here. You still need to understand our arguments. You are using a fake documentary (and Mondo will probably tell you it's fake) as a source, not even realizing that all the information in that documentary is for the sake of comedy. I warned you not to put that information there, but you still won't listen. Some users suspect you are a vandal, and any more attempts to spread false information (intentionally or not) will result in a two-week ban. The mockumentary is false because it is. It's a joke documentary. I even gave you the word definitions, but you still chose to ignore me. TheUnGhost (talk) 22:41, 24 December 2023 (UTC)
- I'm not claiming the video is lying. I'm saying the video is a joke. Why can't you understand me? Do you know what satire is? I know what you are saying: You are saying you believe what the video says. You can contact the people who worked on it, and they'll tell you that the video is satire. Do I have to pull up the dictionary for parody? I hate to be sharp, but you cannot grasp the idea of a comedy-based franchise making a fake documentary. There have been many mockumentaries worldwide. It's like taking The Onion seriously. TheUnGhost (talk) 23:59, 24 December 2023 (UTC)
