Birds [1] (also known as Birdies) are woodpeckers seen in the Happy Tree Friends franchise. They have the same appearance as the woodpecker seen in the Happy Tree Friends episode "Eye Candy" in which one plays a minor role in the plot, and other woodpeckers with the same design have appeared in other episodes and the games.
Happy Tree Friends: Flippy's Flying Frenzy[edit]
In Happy Tree Friends: Flippy's Flying Frenzy, Birdies are hazards that appear after level 2. They move up and down, and touching them will hurt Flippy and make him crash his helicopter. They can, however, deal damage to the victim.
Sugar High[edit]
In Sugar High, Nutty must jump on the birds that carry lollipops in their beak after a factory accident.[1] Every time Nutty jumps on a bird, it dies.
Trivia[edit]
- In the original version of Sugar High, Jumping Nutty, if Nutty dies, a bird will come and defecate on him in the same way as Toothy in "Eye Candy".
- Every time a bird dies in Sugar High, it uses its death animation from "Hide and Seek" when Flippy kills a similar woodpecker despite the different colors. The same mistake appears in Jumping Nutty.
